Phase 1: Cognitive Inoculation & The Guardian Mindset (2 Hours)

The course begins by tearing down passive civilian conditioning and replacing it with a hyper-vigilant, proactive blueprint for structural defense.

• Deconstructing the Cognitive Freeze: Analyzing how sudden, extreme violence induces tachypsychia (time distortion), auditory exclusion, and tunnel vision—and utilizing tactical breath regulation to override the body's panic loops.

• The Offensive Mindset in the Classroom: Transitioning from a reactive state ("What is happening?") to an aggressive, tactical posture ("I am going to hunt and neutralize this threat."). We cultivate the psychological willingness to bypass fear and use sudden, overwhelming force to preserve student life.

• Utah Statutory Law & Use-of-Force Thresholds: A rigorous review of Utah Code regarding the legal boundaries of deadly force on school grounds. Guardians explore the exact criteria of Imminent Threat and Reasonable Belief when defending a classroom under dynamic conditions.
