3 DAY Intro to Executive Protection

The 3-Day Executive Protection Specialist Certification is an intensive, 24-hour course engineered to equip operational specialists, private security agents, and law enforcement personnel with modern close protection fundamentals. Operating daily from 0800 to 1700 at the Protective Services Training Center, the curriculum bridges theoretical intelligence gathering, detail choreography, and rapid tactical decision-making to execute seamless low-to-medium profile protective details.

Day one establishes the cornerstone of proactive security through protective intelligence, operational threat assessment, and advance site surveys. Candidates analyze mission profiles and detail roles—including Agent in Charge (AIC), Lead Advance, Shift Leader, and Personal Protection Officer (PPO)—before mastering route reconnaissance, identifying potential choke points, and designating safe havens. The day concludes with an applied venue advance exercise where students construct comprehensive Emergency Action Plans (EAPs), evaluate concentric perimeters, and brief a full advance packet.
